Cookie Policy
This site sets no cookies at all. Here is what it keeps in your browser instead, and how to clear it.
What cookies are, and what we set
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back with every later request — how a site recognises you between one page and the next, and how an advertising network recognises you between one website and the next.
This site sets no cookies. Not necessary ones, not functional ones, not analytics, not advertising. Browse the entire site, submit any form on it, and your cookie jar for this domain stays empty.
Why that is possible
A statically rendered marketing site with no accounts, no login, no basket and no personalisation has no state to carry between pages, so there is nothing for a cookie to do.
What is stored instead
Two values, written and read only by your browser, there purely for your convenience.
| What is stored | Key (in localStorage) | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your light or dark theme choice | pl-theme | So the site opens in the appearance you picked |
| Your recent searches on this site | pl:recent-searches | So the search dialog can offer them again |
Neither identifies you: the first holds the word "light" or "dark", the second your five most recent search terms. Both last until you clear your browser storage, and because localStorage is never attached to a request, we could not read either one even if we wanted to.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, response status and browser user-agent — written whether or not a cookie exists, used to keep the site available and spot abuse, and held for up to 12 months.
Third-party content, and our other systems
One piece of third-party content is embedded here: the contact page carries a Google Maps frame. Loading it gives Google your IP address, and Google may set its own cookies under its privacy policy, which we neither control nor can read. The written address on the same page tells you everything the map would.
This policy covers www.primelynxglobal.com. Our other systems are built for different jobs — a portal that keeps you signed in cannot do so without a cookie.
| System | Cookies | Governed by |
|---|---|---|
| Client portal — primefix.primelynxglobal.com | Yes — strictly necessary, to keep you signed in | The notice on that system and the terms issued with your credentials |
| Regional sites — United States, China and AW Realtors | Set independently of this site | The cookie notice published on each of those sites |
Links out are a different thing again
Following a link to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook or a partner's website takes you onto a domain we do not control, where that operator's cookies and terms apply from the moment the page loads.
What this site deliberately leaves out
No analytics
No Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no alternative platform. We cannot tell you apart from any other visitor.
No advertising or remarketing
No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no Google Ads conversion tag.
No social widgets or font CDNs
Our social links are plain links, not embedded feeds. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than Google Fonts.
No session recording or fingerprinting
Nothing records your mouse, scrolling, keystrokes or screen, and we make no attempt to identify your device by its configuration.
Why there is no consent banner
Consent is required where a site stores or accesses information on your device for purposes that are not strictly necessary — analytics and advertising above all. This site does neither.
The two values above are set in direct response to something you did: choosing a theme, or running a search. They stay on your device, and you can clear them at any time.
If that changes, you will be asked
If we ever add analytics, advertising or any other non-essential storage, we will put a consent mechanism in place before it loads, with rejecting as easy as accepting.
Managing and clearing what is stored
Clearing site data for primelynxglobal.com removes both values immediately, and a private window discards them when you close it.
| Browser | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Chrome and Edge | Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions |
| Safari (macOS) | Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data |
| Safari (iOS and iPadOS) | Settings app → Safari → Advanced → Website Data |
| Firefox | Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data |
Then search for primelynxglobal.com. Browser menus change with every release — if the path no longer matches, search your settings for "site data". Blocking cookies will not break this site, since it relies on none; blocking localStorage only means it forgets your theme and recent searches.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when what the site stores changes. Any change that introduces cookies or non-essential storage will be announced on the site rather than made quietly.
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
